CCGHT in partnership with Ballymena Borough Council have launched  a brand new guide to the biodiversity and geology of Slemish Mountain.

Located within the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Slemish Mountain, dominates the landscape near Ballymena and comprises a rich mosaic of upland habitats with a diverse variety of plants and animal species.  The newly launched biodiversity booklet and signage will help visitors identify these species. Don’t forget to report anything interesting you find on our new Antrim Coast and Glens AONB CeDAR Recording Form on Habitas.org.uk

Pick up a copy of our Slemish Biodiversity booklet from Ballymena Tourist Information Centre, Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust office, 27 Main Street, Armoy or alternatively download a copy from ccght.org

Hard-copies are available on request to info@ccght.org
