Shaping the Future of the Causeway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)

In December 2024, S3 Solutions were commissioned by Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust (CCGHT) to lead a stakeholder engagement process to inform the development of a new 10-year Management Plan (2025–2035) and 5-year Action Plan (2025–2030) for the Causeway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Earlier this year, a series of engagement meetings allowed local voices to share what they value about the landscape and what they’d like to see in the years ahead. The report outlines the research process and shares valuable feedback from stakeholders on the future vision, priorities, and objectives for the area.

What happens now?

As these new plans will shape how we conserve, enhance, and celebrate the Causeway Coast AONB, we are now encouraging local communities, groups, and organisations to get involved, share ideas, and help shape the future of this unique and special place by taking a few minutes to complete a short survey either online or by downloading the Causeway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Project and Partnership Form and posting to Causeway Coast AONB Project Ideas, Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust, The Old Bank, 27 Main Street, Armoy, BT53 8SL. The deadline for survey responses is Wednesday, 11th June 2025.

Please note it is advised to read the Call for Projects Guidance Notes before completing the survey.
