Competition winner Jodie Buchanan’s winning photograph for the Causeway Coast AONB Seascape Photo Competition. The photo shows the new access path and bridge at White Rocks Beach, outside Portrush at the AONB’s western edge.

We are delighted to announce the winner of our recent photography competition, celebrating World Oceans Day and the special seascapes of the Causeway Coast.

We asked you to send in your best photo of the Causeway Coast AONB’s coastline, for the chance to win a £50 voucher to enjoy a boat tour of this stunning area. CCGHT would like to thank the roughly 40 local photography enthusiasts who submitted a fantastic and diverse range of photos via the Causeway Coast AONB Facebook page.

The winner of the competition is Jodie Buchanan, from Limavady, with a wonderful photograph of White Rocks beach. The photo brilliantly encapsulates both the natural and man made features of the Causeway coast, showcasing the new access path and bridge alongside the beach’s spectacular dunes and stunning shoreline.

The Trust would also like to thank Gary Burrows, DAERA Marine and Fisheries Division, who helped select the winning photo.
