CCGHT staff were invited to Stormont on Wednesday 27th June to promote the 3 North Coast AONBs at the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations. More than 20,000 people attended the event in the grounds of Parliament Buildings. Whilst the public selected their best viewing points along the mile we encouraged them to complete short questionnaires to determine their awareness of Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to investigate their opinion on National Parks and the development of the Runkerry Golf Resort.
