This survey, conducted by the Sylva Foundation, focuses on current management and attitudes towards ancient woodland, planted ancient woodland sites and restoration.
The findings will support a Heritage Lottery Fund outreach project, which offers free advice and site assessments for owners and managers of ancient woodland.
The survey is open to all woodland owners and managers. It will take only 20 minutes to complete, and will be live throughout September. It includes information on how to identify ancient woodland and planted ancient woodland sites, and contact details for the local Project Officers who provide expert advice.
