Join Magilligan Tree Nursery to collect wild cherry seeds native tree seeds to be processed and grown on, as well as taking some seeds home for your own back garden. We will keep an eye out for what else we might be able to collect, and learn which species will be ripe later in the Autumn.

You will also have the opportunity to learn some native tree ID, and what to do with your seeds once you have collected them.
Equipment for seed collection will be provided, but please do bring your own bags/buckets to take home some seeds, and gardening gloves if required.

Please wear suitable sturdy footwear, and prepare for both blazing sun and the odd downpour! Some light refreshments will be provided, but do feel free to bring lunch, extra snacks and water.
