Family Friendly Pollinator Walk

Join terrestrial Ecologist Nathan McIlwrath and the Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust on a Pollinator walk exploring Whitepark Bay examining the key features of what makes it an Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI) and a valuable site for conservation. White Park Bay is habitat to a wide variety of distinctive and charismatic species specifically adapted to a life on the beach including several rare species.
This will be a leisurely stroll across the dunes suitable for all ages. We may even spot some of the coastal butterflies and bumblebees on the day.
-Not suitable for dogs.
-Please note there will be uneven underfoot conditions and therefore may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
-Sensible footwear recommended
-Car parking available
-COVID restrictions may apply – eg. social distancing and numbers may be reduced according to guidelines
