Come and join Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust and Northword Creative and artist Sasha McVey for a free fun-filled craft workshop.
In this workshop parents, grandparents or guardians will work alongside the child to make their very own trio of ceramic dishes. Using foraged plants and leaves alongside stamps and other tools, together you will be able to print into the stoneware clay and decorate with a range of techniques. You will also be able to add your own splash of colour to complete your makes.
Sasha will tell you how she brought Alison McFaul’s story of “The Lighthouse Kitchen Cupboards” to life through her work as part of the Northword project.
All materials will be supplied, including a bisque firing, glaze, and glaze firing. Your creations will be available to collect at a later date.
Spaces are limited. Please note a responsible adult must remain with the child at all times. For further info regarding the workshop email tierna@ccght.org
