Join staff from Binevenagh Landscape Partnership Scheme and expert Ecologist Karl Hamilton at Altikeeragh Nature Reserve to find out about the special flora and fauna found on the ASSI site, a little about how bogs form and why they are important as carbon sinks and for water quality and storage on a landscape scale.

Meeting point will be Ballyhackett Viewpoint at 10am. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Bring a sun hat, suncream and water or alternatively waterproofs and wear strong sturdy boots as we will be walking on uneven terrain with with wet boggy areas.
