The Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust has two job opportunities working on the Binevenagh and Coastal Lowlands Landscape Partnership Scheme funded primarily by the Heritage Lottery Fund and supported by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency and Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

 

These are exceptional opportunities for enthusiastic individuals to be part of an inspirational and dynamic team that celebrates the natural, built and cultural heritage of the Causeway Coast and Glens region.

i. Binevenagh and Coastal Lowlands Landscape Partnership Scheme – Manager

 

Responsible for the development of a stage 2 application to HLF for the Binevenagh and Coastal Lowlands LPS and, if successful, subject to mutual agreement, delivery of the project.

 

Full time post, fixed term 18-month contract (with the possibility of an extension of up to a further 5 years).

 

Salary: NJC Scale range £35,444 – £39,177 (Scale Point 40-44) per annum. Pension scheme is available.

 

Location: Binevenagh area

 

ii. Binevenagh and Coastal Lowlands LPS – Administration and Finance Officer (part-time)

 

Responsible for the administrative and financial support during the development stage of the Binevenagh and Coastal Lowlands LPS and, if the application is successful, and subject to mutual agreement, continued support during the delivery of the project.

 

Salary: NJC Scale range 14-21, £16,781 – £20,138 pro rata per annum. Pension scheme is available.

 

Part-time post (2.5 days a week), fixed term 18-month contract (with the possibility of an extension of up to a further 5 years).

 

Location: Binevenagh area

 

 

NB It should be noted that the Binevenagh LPS posts will be appointed initially for the development phase of the scheme.  However, should the development phase result in a successful stage 2 application the posts (subject to mutual agreement) will be extended to cover the 5-year delivery phase.  It should be further noted that funding has not been secured for the period between the development and delivery stages (a period of possibly 4-6 months).  CCGHT and the Binevenagh LPS partnership will endeavour to identify employment for LPS staff during this period but this cannot be guaranteed.
